		<description>So, Lorraine -- what&#039;s his guaranteed solution for slugs and snails on Hostas? Alas, I missed his visit to Toronto. 
My back garden has become so shady that I&#039;ve pulled up most non-performers and have replaced them with a combination of hostas, ferns, and astilbe. I worry that (I think it was Martin Galloway who came up with the expression) that I&#039;ve planted a salad bar for slugs!
