Daniel Borins recycles plastic pots into art at Land-Escape

Dragged myself out of bed for day two of the set up of Canada Blooms. Delivered lots of plants, watered containers and checked out the gardens in progress. My favourite so far is by Hobson Landscapes. Entitled Urban Pioneer, it features a contemporary sugar shack which should have been surrounded by sap buckets, but unfortunately, the designer’s source for the buckets let him down, so he’s now bucketless. Anyone out there have some sap buckets they can deliver to Canada Blooms by 1 p.m. Tuesday when the judging starts???

Tomorrow we’ll be rushing around putting the finishing touches on the show, then, off to the gala! Whoo-hoo! What to wear, what to wear…

[Sorry, pics from my cell phone are terrible!!!]
