Whether it’s the World Cup, Olympic Games or the Oscars, everybody loves celebrating a winner, and right now garden communicators like me are congratulating one of our own for her Silver Medal Award-winning garden calendar. The Garden Writers Association has just annouced the winners of its annual awards program, and Niagara Falls-based Theresa Forte has won big for her beautifully produced garden calendar. I recently attended one of Theresa’s photography workshops and realize just how much thought and skill goes into composing and creating great photos. (I’m trying to wean myself off auto-focus — it’s hard to go cold-turkey!)
So, if you get the chance, pick up one of Theresa’s calendars — it’s a winner!
